My Actifit Report Card: December 27 2021
Too cold for Man or beast!🥶
Chris’s tractor sits in his pasture, he and some of the other neighbors have been busy today, snow plowing!
Last night was the coldest I have seen in twenty one years!
I got up twice last night to put wood in the wood stove!🤣
Two degrees Fahrenheit above zero……..Burr, that’s cold!🥶
I turn on the faucets……..nothing frozen!☺️
The Sun was out today, and it warmed up to eight degrees. I talked Liz into a short hike to the pond.🥰
We ran into Cameron a neighbor at the far top of our street. Something on his water well froze, he was able to thaw it out, he said a hot shower was so nice!☺️
My neighbor at the tiny house has a water storage tank and the outlet valve froze…….The challenges of frigid temperatures!😲
Silvertop and Liz have three choices of heating…….
We love wood heat, nothing is warmer!😊
I installed a mini split heat pump this Summer, it heats wonderfully, just not at TWO degrees above zero Lol!🤣
Silvertop also personally installed a high efficiency gas forced air furnace, for when we are away on vacation.
I haven’t turned the electric on to this furnace in two years, it’s still brand new!
Did I say I love wood Heat Lol!🤣
I told Liz ……….
“Two above zero, we need to turn this furnace on and test run it!”
When the furnace blower kicked in, Cyle one of our Cat’s was terrified!😳
He sounded like he was hurt bad……..poor baby, he does not like change, and we obviously had a monster in the house lol!
“Liz I turned the furnace off, go find out where Cyle is hiding!😻
I brought in some more firewood, everyone will like that!☺️
