Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another good day and it's now time to get ready for bed 💤. Thank you for reading, I've got the trending stories and let's quickly take a look at how my day went before time is up. Here we go again 💨.
I started off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighborhood 🌲. A light session enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Kenya's president is in Sweden co chairing the +50 UN global environment meeting..
Globally, Ukraine still trending, the war in the east raging hard as president Zelensky admitted Russia controlling a fifth of the country 😢. Elsewhere in Yemen, the warring parties have agreed to extend the two month ceasefire 👏. Hopefully we won't see pictures of malnourished children suffering as supplies of food and medicine get stuck at the ports.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is back up to 30k, let's see if it breaks 32k where it was rejected at two days ago. Keep hodling 💯. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre for a few errands. Then I was back indoors where I had my usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the middle east, OPEC countries have agreed to increase oil production by upto 650k barrels a day 👏.
This after high level diplomacy seeking to mend the relationship between Washington and Riyadh. Hopefully this reduces the prices of fuel which has gone berserk all over the world 😹. Elsewhere, in a shocking move; Tunisian president has sacked 57 judges as he tightened his grip on the courts and consolidates power 😱. This is definitely not the democracy Tunisians have been yearning for ; another dictator?
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃. I made it back home safe and sound as darkness fell..
