Hello everyone 👋,
Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been a great day and hopefully yours has been great too. Time to slow down, get ready for bed before that , let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I had a brief session of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning.
Next I was back indoors where I showered 🚿 and rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Shortages of fuel persisted as big companies are suspected of hoarding 😬.
Globally, Ukraine still trending as more bodies were discovered in other cities. The victims believed to have been deliberately murdered by withdrawing Russian soldiers 😢. The heavy bombarding of Mariupol kept going. Elsewhere, US announced a new round of sanctions targeting Russian banks. A popular darknet website known as 'hydra' was shut down.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin pulled back and is now at 43k, a red day in the market for most cryptos. This as that bitcoin conference kicked off in Miami.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the city centre for a few errands. Walked around for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤. I got up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Also trending, former Burkina Faso president Compaore has been found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his close friend and African statesman Thomas Sankara 😱.
Though he won't serve the sentence as he is in exile in Ivory coast 😢. Elsewhere in Khartoum Sudan anti coup protests kept going.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
