Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Monday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. Hopefully your new week is off to a great start. Please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. Enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I brisk walked 👣 and jogged around the neighborhood 🌲. At around eleven o'clock, I detoured and headed back home 🏡.
Indoors, I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day. Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. And the covid positivity rate is down.
Globally, remember yesterday the ruling party in Burkina Faso denied a military takeover. But today the military declared they've seized power, ousted the president, dissolved parliament and the constitution 😱. Elsewhere in Europe, NATO is putting forces on standby and even deployed ships to Ukraine just incase Russia tries something 😹.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is at 37k, earlier it was at 33k. Let's see where it goes next. You know the drill, hodl and buy the dip 😹. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the city centre for a couple of errands. Then walked around for a while before heading back home.
Next came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until early evening when I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Things are heating up in the gulf. UAE launched airstrikes on Yemen after intercepting other missiles that Yemen had fired at it😵. Europe's busiest airport shut down in Istanbul while schools closed in Athens as a rare snowstorm blanketed swathes of the eastern mediterranean region, causing blackouts and traffic havoc😱.
As the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. It was amazing, slow paced winding down my day nicely 😊.
