My Actifit Report Card: May 5 2024
I had mentioned the other day how I stepped on a cat and as a result I got a deep scratch... Well, my sister insisted that I go first thing in the morning to get an anti- rabies shot. I don't know where she got the info that apparently during hot season, rabies from animals is higher. 🤔 Oh well, I guess I better go. The Center is only open half day every Saturday.
So yeah, after having a quick breakfast...off I went. I was there quarter to 8am but I tell you what...the queue's long already. The doctor arrived at 20 past 9am. I finally got the jab around 10:30am and apparently, I'm going to have another injection on Tuesday. I hope rabies hasn't ever existed!
I decided to explore after that. Instead of taking public transport, I walked around so I can at least familiarised the place a bit.
In this next photo is just the opposite of the "animal bite" center and hospital buildings. From where I was standing is a jeepney station going to different places and some pharmacies and mini marts on the side. And these are stalls of plants and trees seedlings sellers.
I dropped by an appliances and furnitures store to see if they have cooking ranges to choose from but they have none.
Then I walked to another store but none that I am looking for. I don't know why it's hard to find and electric oven with gas stoves. I may just end up with a gas range. Not so sure about its safety on food, though I used one before. Don't know why I'm so worried.
The frustrating thing was that after the early day and that long walk, I realized my actifit tracker wasn't on. 😶
