My Actifit Report Card: January 22 2021

Good evening actifitters I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today was a lovely hot summers day and lil miss 3 and I went out on the bike to explore our new suburb. Fortunately we are living by the local wet lands and creeks which spans quite a lot of kilometres and has alot of forks which means lots of exploring and things to find.

The area is a relatively new development and prior to housing it was farm land. So that means alot of these new developed zones are done so with environmental protections in place. Meaning the wetlands and creeks are flourishing and the creek isn't used as a drain.

You can see the stark difference in the thriving reeds and lakes that surround the estate lots of colours and strong growth. I was amazed by it all and definitely a project I will undertake to investigate the impacts it has on native wild life.

There aren't many birds as yet as I don't believe they even know it's here. Also the trees are still young so no where to hide or nest. Swamp hens are around but at the moment it's still quite hot without mature trees so it will be some time before native birds move in.

I'm guessing there will be fish though so I might throw in a line and see if we can catch anything.

We stopped by the soccer club on the way home which has become our usual hang about for coffee and watching the boys train. Not sure if I should be worried about that yet or not. But definitely something I'll have to keep monitoring especially as lil miss 3 grows a bit older.

I finished the night off with a chest workout and wait until you see my new gym set up! Still abit more to do but I have alot more space and freedom in my new double garage.
