My Actifit Report Card: January 6 2022
After yesterday’s events, I wasn’t too sure how I’d pull up. Nevertheless, I started the day with a quick walk down to the local lake and back. It was approximately 2.5Ks.
My dog Tara promptly packed it in and slept through until after lunch. Then in the heat of the day, we set off on what turned out to be a 4K walk While I may have given the wrong impression of my neighbourhood yesterday, in truth, it is a pretty nice place to live. One of the surprising features of the area is the amount of quality hard rubbish left on nature strips for people to fossick through and take if they feel so inclined. There is potential to upcycle a lot of this stuff. I’ve already started a side business where I’ve been buying 2nd hand furniture on the cheap and reselling it. There is plenty of scope to take this further. In my travels yesterday I came across these books sitting on the front lawn free to anybody who wanted them.
By the evening, I’d clocked up 10K worth of actifit steps. Brigid wanted to go for a walk after dinner and I managed to clock up a few more Ks
