Dokuzak waterfall

Hello everyone !

Last Sunday we walked to the beautiful Dokuzak waterfall, which is located in the heart of Strandzha.

Century tree – an old friend of the waterfall

The name of the waterfall Dokuzak originates from the Turkish language and means 9 springs (dokuz – nine). The river of the same name, which forms it, originates from 9 non-drying karst springs. It's only 5 meters tall, but that doesn't mean it's any less impressive.
