Hello friends of beautiful pictures
After now 7 days here I know that sun and tropical weather alone does not condition beautiful pictures. I have only two alternatives, to photograph any houses or to photograph the beach. Because that's all I see. More precisely, I see only this neighborhood without beach.
This does not mean that I have a monotonous life. I just hardly find photo motifs and also have this inhibition to photograph strangers. I guess I have to change that.
I don't want to photograph my dates either, but I can talk about them.
Here in Punta Cana, outside of the large hotel complexes, there is really nothing going on. The vacationers stay among themselves, separated from the locals. One also looks for a party scene here in vain. There are not even full houses in the "hip" clubs. Not to mention a party mile.
So you meet on Tinder and similar apps.
All well and good, there are people willing to date in this area and it actually goes off very unconventionally. But as in any tourist area, professionals are certainly 90% .
The best way to filter out the professionals is to offer to send an Uber to pick them up. Professionals have their personal driver and earn already with inflated cab prices. Paying a cab is standard here if you don't date the neighbor. It's also kind of understandable, with monthly earnings of $150 to $400, such ne cab ride is a noticeable expense.
Everything else is like everywhere else, let the charm play, then it works out.
Hallo Freunde der schönen Bilder
Nach nunmehr 7 Tagen hier weiß ich, dass Sonne und tropisches Wetter alleine keine schönen Bilder bedingt. Ich habe nur zwei Alternativen, irgendwelche Häuser zu fotografieren oder den Strand zu fotografieren. Denn mehr sehe nicht. Genauer gesagt, ich sehe nur dieses Viertel ohne Strand.
Das heißt ja nicht, dass ich ein eintöniges Leben habe. Ich finde nur kaum Fotomotive und habe eben auch diese Hemmung, fremde Menschen zu fotografieren. Das muss ich wohl ändern.
Meine Dates will ich auch nicht fotografieren, aber darüber erzählen kann ich.
Hier in Punta Cana ist außerhalb der großen Hotelkomplexe eigentlich nichts los. Die Urlauber bleiben unter sich, getrennt von den Einheimischen. Auch eine Partyszene sucht man hier vergebens. Es gibt nicht mal volle Häuser in den "angesagten" Clubs. Von einer Partymeile ganz zu schweigen.
Man trifft sich also auf Tinder und ähnlichen Apps.
Gut und schön, es gibt Datingwillige in dieser Gegend und es geht eigentlich sehr unkonventionell ab. Aber wie in jedem Touristengebiet, Professionelle sind bestimmt 90% .
Die Profis filtert man am besten heraus, indem man ihnen anbietet, einen Uber zu schicken, um sie abzuholen. Profis haben ihren persönlichen Fahrer und verdienen schon mit überhöhten Taxipreisen. Ein Taxi zu bezahlen ist Standard hier, wenn man nicht die Nachbarin dated. Ist auch irgendwie einzusehen, bei Monatsverdiensten von 150 bis 400 Dollar ist so ne Taxifahrt eine spürbare Ausgabe.
Alles andere ist wie überall, Charme spielen lassen, dann klappt das schon
