Spurs Gunned Down In NLD
Arsenal came out guns blazing and with a point to prove in this first North London derby, granted it was at home, so they had the fans on their side, but they still came out and played like a team that wasn't willing to give an inch. Mikel was also fortunate to field a full strength side with Zinchenko, Odegaard and Partey able to get through at least 70 minutes and it made all the difference.
Arsenal had all of the ball, and Spurs at back and let the gunner's midfielders dictate the play. It showed with both midfielders in the center backing a goal each side of Jesus poaching on a mistake from Lloris.
The one blemish of the day was Gabriel handing Spurs a penalty which Kane put away with ease. Another key talking point was the straight red for Emerson who was late on Martinelli, but I don't think that would have made too much difference to the outcome of the game as Arsenal were all over spurs from the first whistle.
Arsenal's outstanding start to the season continues and it's a good win to have has they push on with the next game against Liverpool. It's games like this that will make or break their season as the Arsenal are keen to hold on to the number 1 spot for as long as possible with man city breathing down their neck.
