Cedric Soares hasn't seen much game time this season, with Ben White filling in at right back as Tomiyasi was also injured, this should have been a perfect time for Cedric to take up the mantle. Tomiyasi out, Bellerin and Maitland Niles moved on he would never get a better chance to make right back his own. But injuries kept him out and the defender had only just returned from an injury issue that kept him out of the games against FC Zurich and Brentford.

Now there are reports that Cedric has picked up a fresh knock that will keep him out for up to two weeks. It's been a frustrating start to the season for the Portugal international who is yet to play a minute for the Gunners so far this campaign.

Cedric featured in 21 of Arsenal's 38 Premier League games last season - enjoying a consistent run but with an injury record like this, I think Mikel will lose patience with him, and it might be time to move him on. With the improvement in Norton Cuffy who is out on loan, Cedric might face competition that he cannot crack and would need to move on.

Full back seems to be a role we cannot crack lately, someone is always pulling up injured, perhaps its the way we deploy them asking them to do far too much work, but it is a concern that all full backs seem to not see out a season without time on the treatment table
