My Actifit Report Card: September 16 2020
I was going to ride yesterday but could not get motivated. Wife working from home day changes the pattern of things.
Went for a late walk down the local Lovers Jump Creek track. I wanted to check out for sun orchids this side. Took a push to do that.
Went off track to see how the nodding greenhoods are below the track. A few still flowering with this one rewarding the photographer - pollinator action
Spring brings out this pink flower. I call it the upside down flower as it always droops to the ground. Impossible to capture against the light - this one was facing me
White fingers orchid still flowering - so pretty
Have been watching a bud develop which is probably pterostylis baptistii. Still not flowered but there was a flower opposite.
It is twice the size of a pterostylis curta which also has a twisted labellum. Pretty sure it is king greenhood.
Top down view - new find this season
Just enough light to capture a mayfly orchid - leaf behind helped the camera to focus
Common ant orchid - 3 flowers this week in this spot.
Further along spot had them starting to shut up shop for 2020.
Walked up away from the creek to check for sun orchids. Found one on left of track which is not a known spot for me.
A little further on right on the track were a few bearded orchids - one just opening. Also a new spot for me.
Spied a sun orchid down the slope below the track. A few plants in fact.

Walking back to track I see a single caladenia carnea - the carmine stripes are its hallmark

Internet Merketing stuff - started to map out email sequence for new Iceberg Effect list. Been a bit slack. Too many moving parts.

Dinner: Chicken satay out of my head. Yum
Trade action: FX service fell over. Stocks: Sold GLD. Bought GDX. Better leverage to gold price on mining stocks. Bought GE to average down. A few income trades for October expiry.
