Shower time for the doggos
Yesterday was a great day, lots of walks with the doggos, plenty of excercise - at least walking and being active if not running and gym because of my knees - and then we showered the dogs. Once a month I try to bathe them to keep them clean, they're house-only dogs so they don't really get dirty.
Whenever I go to the store or somewhere close I bring one of them with me, so there's that, some times they get a little bit dirty, but with all the brushing treatments I give them on a twice-per-week basis, they're basically clean, with healthy hair doggos.
Even so, once a month shower is mandatory if they want to stay inside the house at all times and only go out to the terrace to pee and crap.
We have individual towels for each of them and they behave pretty good when we soap, brush, rinse and wash them. We have a middle sized table where we place them so we can wash them comfortably for both the dogs and us and curiously they stay there and behave excellently while we do so.
After their bath, it's my duty to dry them up and then brush their hair once more so they don't drop hair everywhere inside the house. After that, and because I don't dry them up perfectly, they stay around 1-2 hours in the garden so the sun does the rest of my work for me.
That's why I don't mind them doing this kind of crap in the guest room.
So overall, great Saturday. Clean and happy dogs, lots of sun for all of us, and almost 11k steps in the process. Not bad at all.
