Meet my Chili Plant growing from a Seed!

This year I will also grow a chili plant from a seed on my balcony. Like last year I chose the rather hot variety "Pretty in Purple" for it. The plant looks very attractive, because its leaves have a very unusual colour: purple and green!

The chillies themselves are green in the beginning, changing to yellow, purple and when fully ripe they are fire red!

Below are some macro photos from the seed to the current stage.




Auch dieses Jahr werde ich auf meinem Balkon eine Chili Pflanze aus einem Samenkorn ziehen. Wie im letzten Jahr habe ich dafür die ziemlich scharfe Sorte "Pretty in Purple" gewählt. Die Pflanze sieht sehr hübsch aus, da ihre Blätter eine sehr außergewöhnliche Farbe haben: purpurfarben und grün!

Die Chilischoten selbst sind anfangs grün, wechseln zu gelb, purpur und in voller Reife sind sie dann feuerrot!
