Swami Vivekanandar is one of the greatest spiritual leaders of India. He encouraged the youth to excel, lead a chaste life and set an example to the world.

Narendra Modi Datta was born on January 12, 1863, in Calcutta, British India. From a very young age, he was religious, spiritual and had a great liking for the monk-hood.

He studied well in many subjects such as philosophy, religion, spirituality, literature, and history.

At a young age, he met an Indian mystic named Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, whose teachings fascinated young Narendra so much that he later became his disciple. In 1893, at the request of Maharaja Ajit Singh, he was called the name of Vivekanandar.

We pay homage to his wisdom and the steadfastness of Indian spirituality, the anniversary of the death of today.
