These types of questions may arise. Here I've shared some facts about this.

• Stripped Tablets- The midline of this tablet is called debossed line. For example, if the tablet is 100 mg means 50 mg on the left side of the line and 50 mg on the right side of the line. These types of tablets are called adjustable tablets. Because if we are less affected we are advised to take 50 mg only, no need to take full tablets. So we break this tablet using this line. We can break only the stripped tablets. But we can't break and swallow the unstripped tablets, It is not
  advisable.

• Capsules- Capsules are made up of Gelatin. Some capsules are hard-shelled and it is made of plastic. It is used to fill the powder like medicine.
  
  Some are soft-shelled and it is made of rubber. It is used to fill liquid-like medicines.
  

You may ask why they use capsules for filling the medicine rather than giving it as tablets. Because tablets take more time to dissolve and react in our body. But while intake these capsules it quickly dissolves and reacts.
