East Aceh Dekranasda Exhibition Stand Attracted by Visitors.

The East Aceh Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda) took part in enlivening the XVII Aceh Regional Student Sports Week (POPDA) which took place in Aceh from July 6 2024.

Dekranasda East Aceh itself exhibited handicraft products at a stand located in the ceremonial field of the East Aceh Regency government. As long as this stand was opened, many visitors were watching.

"We are taking part in enlivening the Popda event in East Aceh. This is also our opportunity to introduce regional crafts to visiting guests from various city districts," said the Chair of the East Aceh Regency Dekranasda, Mrs dr. Maizarniwati Mahyuddin, Thursday

At this largest exhibition, East Aceh Regency brought products from the work of craftsmen assisted by Dekranasda, East Aceh Regency. The products on display are Ambal Mats, Sitting Mats, Corsi Pillowcases, Tissue Boxes, 7-layer Mats, Pucok Reubong motif fabrics, East Aceh motif headscarves and woven fabrics.

He added that the East Aceh Regency stand was attracted by many visitors. Even a number of woven Pandan mats and several bags are selling well with buyers.

"This is a source of pride in the midst of current developments, our traditional works are still in demand. Hopefully our works will continue to advance to dominate the market," he concluded.
