155 Participants Take Part in MTQ in Term Bireuen District.

A total of 155 participants from five residential areas, Friday, 12/7/2024, took part in the 37th Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) in Panjang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, which took place in the local sub-district multi-purpose building.

Term Subdistrict Head, Alfian S Sos through the Camcam Secretary, Juanda Abdullah SE said that the MTQ was attended by 155 participants from the Term, Banjir Asin, Lam Kuta, Bugak and Ulee Kuta Settlements.

The MTQ was opened by the Head of the Bireuen Islamic Sharia Department, Dr H Jufliwan SH MM represented by Tgk Hamdani and will last until Sunday (14/7/2024) evening.

Term Subdistrict Head, Alfian S Sos said, the implementation of the 37th MTQ in Terjang was part of efforts to improve the ability to read the Koran for the younger generation and the community.

Then increase knowledge, also part of Islamic teachings and select the best participants as district level MTQ participants later.

Head of the Bireuen Islamic Sharia Service in his speech as read by Tgk Hamdani, MTQ is an effort to foster a love of always studying and understanding the Koran as a guide and guide to life.

The Koran is also a never-ending source of inspiration and knowledge to be explored. MTQ is also a vehicle for producing a Quranic generation, namely a generation that loves the Koran.

"MTQ is also an effort to continuously develop qari qariah, looking for ambassadors from the Panjang District to take part in MTQ at the district level," he said.

It is hoped that the entire panel of judges will provide an assessment that is as objective as possible, as fair as possible regardless of where they come from and without being influenced by family relationships.

"Eliminate the attitude of nepotism so that no party suffers from the value provided," he said.

The opening of the MTQ was attended by the Chief of the Term Police, Ipda Novizal S Sos, Danramil Term, Lettu Inf Jamaluddin and the mukim, village heads in the Panjang sub-district as well as hundreds of residents.
