Bireuen Resort Police (Polres), Aceh Province, Indonesia, carried out a pilgrimage and scattered flowers at the Heroes' Cemetery of Colonel (Ret.) Husein Yusuf and Lieutenant (Ret.) Ummi Salmah, in Geulumpang Payong Village, Jeumpa District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia , Monday 24 June 2024.
On the pilgrimage to welcome the 78th Bhayangkara Day, the Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, Deputy Head of Police, and Principal Officials (PJU) and their staff, including Bhayangkari, were present.
"We carry out pilgrimages and scatter flowers at the Heroes' Cemetery as a form of respect to remember the struggles and sacrifices of the nation's heroes," said Jatmiko.
Remembering the struggles and sacrifices of the nation's heroes is very important for all Bhayangkara people, it must be used as enthusiasm and motivation in carrying out daily tasks, in protecting, protecting and serving the community.
The pilgrimage and flower-laying at the Heroes' Cemetery began with a ceremonial procession led by the Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko.
