Acting (Pj) Chair of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Team (TP PKK) Aceh Besar Regency, Cut Rezky Handayani handed over prizes to the winners of the all-fish cooking competition at the closing of the Aceh Besar UMKM Expo Bazaar which was held at Jantho Sport City (JSC), Jantho City , Aceh Besar, Saturday (1/6/2024) evening.
The competition is part of a series of activities to enliven the commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Jantho City and the 52nd Day of Unity in Movement (HKG) of TP PKK Aceh Besar Regency.
In the cooking competition, Lhoknga District won 1st place, Darul Imarah District won 2nd place, and Lembah Seulawah District won 3rd place. Meanwhile, 1st Runner-up was won by Peukan Bada District, and 2nd Runner-up was won by Mesjid Raya District.
Acting Chair of TP PKK Aceh Besar Cut Rezky Handayani appreciated all the competition participants who had demonstrated their best cooking skills. "This cooking competition not only shows the creativity and cooking skills of the community, but also strengthens the unity and spirit of togetherness between sub-districts in Aceh Besar," he said.
He also added that this activity was very important to introduce and promote the local culinary riches of Aceh Besar. "We hope that activities like this can continue to be held to support and develop the potential of MSMEs and regional culinary delights," he said.
The presentation of prizes to the winners was also witnessed by a number of officials who also enlivened this event. Present were Acting Regional Secretary (Sekda) Aceh Azwardi, Acting Regent of Aceh Besar Muhammad Iswanto, Dandim 0101/KBA Colonel Czi Widya Wijanarko, Chief of Police of Aceh Besar AKBP Dhani Catra Nugraha, Kajari Aceh Besar Basril, Chairman of the DPRK Aceh Besar Iskandar Ali, Regional Secretary Aceh Besar, Sulaimi, head of the Aceh Besar District Government OPD, sponsors and thousands of Aceh Besar residents.
The closing ceremony of the Aceh Besar UMKM Expo Bazaar was also attended by various parties, including MSME business actors. This bazaar itself lasted for three days from 30 May to 1 June 2024, and featured various superior products from Aceh Besar.
It was stated that with the end of this activity, Cut Rezky Handayani hoped that all the people of Aceh Besar could continue to actively participate in supporting programs aimed at improving welfare and empowering families.
"Hopefully this activity can be an inspiration for all of us to continue working and innovating for the progress of Aceh Besar," he concluded.
