Acting Aceh Regional Secretary, Azwardi, officially closed the Aceh Besar MSME Expo Bazaar event, Saturday (1/6/2024) evening, at the Jantho Sport City (JSC) arena.
The event, which was packaged in a colossal manner, was accompanied by a typical Aceh Besar batik fashion show and musical performances, which was packed with thousands of visitors who filled the main stage.
The UMKM Expo Aceh Besar bazaar arena, which was held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Jantho City and the 52nd HKG PKK, provided lively and interesting entertainment for the people of Jantho City and its surroundings.
The visitors enjoyed the performances presented on the closing night, including musical arts performances from local musician Safira soloist and the Apache band. Then there was also a dance performance from ISBI Jantho students as well as a fashion show showing typical Aceh Besar batik clothing.
Acting Regional Secretary of Aceh, Azwardi, who read the written remarks of Acting Governor of Aceh Bustami Hamzah when closing the event, expressed his appreciation to all parties, especially the Aceh Besar Regency Government for holding the event.
Azwardi said that the event was a forum for developing MSMEs, supporting and paying attention to the MSME sector was very important, because MSMEs were not only the backbone of the regional economy, but also the main locomotive in creating jobs for the community.
"For this reason, with the support of all parties, we are committed to continuing to provide full support through various programs and policies, such as training, marketing, and so on, to ensure that MSMEs continue to develop and compete in the global market," said Azwardi.
Meanwhile, the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar, Muhammad Iswanto, expressed his appreciation to all parties who have supported and worked hard so that the Aceh Besar MSME Expo Bazaar in Jantho City which was held from 30 May to 1 June 2024 was held well, successfully and smoothly.
"We would like to thank all parties, especially elements of Forkopimda Aceh Besar Regency, vertical agency leaders, BUMG and business actors who have contributed to the success and contribution to this MSME Bazaar activity," said Iswanto.
He added that dozens of culinary and fashion MSMEs were present to participate in the event.
A number of activities were presented at the event, including a parade of PKK sub-district administrators throughout Aceh Besar Regency, tausiah and grand remembrance, distribution of 100 social assistance packages, cheap food competitions, and various kinds of competitions.
"We all know that despite all the limitations, especially budget limitations, thank God we were able to hold this event with great fanfare and success in order to enliven the 40th anniversary of Jantho City and the 52nd PKK Unity Movement Day as well as in order to encourage the progress of MSMEs in Aceh Besar Regency," concluded Iswanto.
The closing event was attended by all elements of Forkopimda Aceh Besar, Chair of PKK Aceh Besar Cut Rezky Handayani, all heads of OPD within the Aceh Besar Regency Government and a number of other stakeholders.
