Thom Haye, midfielder for the Indonesian National Team, is reportedly soon joining the French giant club, OGC Nice. This news is certainly encouraging for Indonesian football fans.
Thom Haye's contract with his old club, SC Heerenveen, has officially ended on June 30 2024. He has decided to look for a new adventure outside the Netherlands.
Initially, Thom Haye was linked with the Italian club, Como 1907. However, this news was denied by representatives of Como 1907.
Recently, news emerged that OGC Nice was interested in bringing in Thom Haye. This news was reinforced by the Twitter account @NissaEbasta, which usually discusses OGC Nice.
"According to various sources, OGC Nice is interested in SC Heerenveen midfielder whose contract expires this summer, Thom Haye. This player closed the season with four goals and four assists," said the account @NissaEbasta.
OGC Nice's interest in Thom Haye was also confirmed by their talent scout, Bertinho. Bertinho even said that Thom Haye was suitable to play at OGC Nice because of his creativity.
"The environment lacks creativity and it is clear we need additional players in midfield. We need a leader who can bring creativity and we are focusing on several players," wrote Bertinho on his Twitter account, @bertinho06.
