New Students UPTD SMPN 1 Bireuen Take MPLS Orientation
UPTD Driving School SMPN 1 Bireuen, Aceh, Indonesia carried out School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) activities for new students, Monday 01 July 2024 in the local school yard.
Activities with the theme "Let's Learn and Work, Exploring the Potential to Realize Dreams with the Independent Curriculum" were held for three days (1-3 July 2024) in the local school yard.
The first day of MPLS activities apart from introducing the teacher council to new students and their parents as well
filled with a number of extracurricular activities at UPTD SMPN 1 Bireuen.
In these extracurricular activities the upperclassmen
demonstrate the abilities they have in front of new students.
Such as the PMR (Youth Red Cross) extracurricular, the Paskibraka extracurricular, meanwhile for arts extracurriculars featuring the Marching Band,
traditional music, creative dance, rapai, pantomime, Rabbani Wahed and The Vector Club.
Then the children's abilities in extracurricular activities in sports such as: Kempo, Karate, Silat and Taekwondo.
A number of extracurricular activities are presented to capture the interests and talents of new students regarding the extracurricular activities at our school.
The second and third days of MPLS activities were filled with the implementation of Academic Provisioning activities.
This activity takes the form of a session introducing the curriculum, learning methods, assessment system, and academic expectations.
Where new students at SMPN 1 Bireuen are given information about the subjects they will study, the assignments they will receive and the academic resources available such as libraries or laboratories.
There is no element of violence in any form or bullying of new students in the implementation of this MPLS activity.
