Even thoug...In the midst of pouring rain, the Bireuen Regency Government held an Eid al-Adha evening takbiran
Even though it rained, it didn't stop participants from taking part in takbiran on the eve of Eid al-Adha 1445 Hijriah – 2024 AD.
The Eid al-Adha evening takbiran held by the Bireuen Regency Government through the Bireuen Islamic Sharia Service (DSI), was centered in the courtyard of the Bireuen Regent's Hall, Sunday evening 16 June 2024, officially opened by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D.
The opening procession of the activity began with the chanting of takbir followed by beating the drum by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, elements of Forkopimda and other elements in turn.
In her direction, the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, said that Allah had given grace tonight by the fall of rain at the same time as the evening takbiran of Eid al-Adha.
"Even though it is raining, let us carry out this takbiran with full solemnity, in an orderly manner and let us broadcast the greatness of the divine while together voicing the name of Allah, chanting the takbir so that we can get closer to the Khaliq," he said.
It was stated that apart from the takbir which was held in this pavilion, a mobile takbiran parade was also carried out using cars by members or colleagues from NGOs, companies and from a number of sub-districts.
"They carried out a traveling takbir parade on a route from Gandapura to Samalanga sub-district," said Aulia Sofyan.
The Acting Regent of Bireuen invited Muslims to observe takbir and ensure that sacrificial animals are slaughtered from tomorrow until the fourth day.
On the sidelines of the activities of the Head of DSI Bireuen, Dr, H Jufliwan, S.H., MM told Kabar Bireuen, this year the Eid al-Adha evening takbiran activities were centered at the Bireuen Regent's Hall.
Apart from that, takbiran activities were also carried out in mosques, meunasah and dayah in a number of villages in 17 sub-districts in the Bireuen Regency area.
"Appreciation and thanks to all participants who were so enthusiastic about taking part in this activity even in the rain and also to all parties for their support and participation in this activity," said the Head of DSI Bireuen.
