The Bireuen Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud) held training to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students for schools implementing IKM Mandiri at the Junior High School (SMP) level which opened on Monday 27 May 2024 at Wisma Bireuen Jaya.

Head of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office through Plt. The Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami, said that strengthening Pancasila values in schools is very important.

"Strengthening Pancasila values through religious activities such as Yasinan, Shalawat, Dhuha prayers and collective Zuhr prayers is the right step," said Acting Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami.

Plt. Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami added, this is in line with the importance of instilling the values of divinity, humanity, unity, democracy and social justice from an early age.

"Strengthening Pancasila values is not only the responsibility of driving schools, but must be a joint movement throughout schools," said Acting Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami.

Plt. Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami added, socialization and training for teachers and school staff needs to be carried out on an ongoing basis to improve the ability of teaching staff to instill Pancasila values in students.

"Apart from religious activities, various other efforts can be made to instill Pancasila values, such as integrating Pancasila values in the curriculum and learning," said the Acting Head of Middle School Development, Zamzami.
