Acting (Pj) Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD symbolically inaugurated 20 Prima Posyandu located in several sub-districts symbolically centered in Gampong (Village) Paya Cut, Peusangan District, Thursday (18/7/2024) morning.

Keuchik Paya Cut Irfan said that 20 Prima Posyandu units were built in Bireuen Regency and one of them was in Gampong Paya Cut and was the location for its symbolic inauguration.

The Prima Paya Cut Posyandu location was built on waqf land with a rental or economic production system so that the waqf land can produce produce and be borne by the village government for future Posyandu operations.

This building is a service center for posyandu for toddlers, the elderly, family planning services, midwifery, and others as well as a place for midwives to practice daily. We from the gampong will help later to add supporting buildings, namely the front canopy. We hope that every month our 120 residents will receive good and comfortable service. .

Head of the Bireuen Health Service (Kadinkes), Dr. Irwan, said that there were 20 Prima Posyandu units in Bireuen Regency built in 2023 from the physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK) budget spread across 17 sub-districts.

Hopefully this Posyandu can be useful for the community because the government's goal is to bring access to health services closer to the community. This special service for Prima Posyandu is only for pregnant women, postpartum women, who are served by midwives at Paya Cut.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD, in her speech said that the existence of this Prima Posyandu will further maximize its function, it will become a mini health center, it is hoped that health services in Gampong will get better.

On that occasion, the Acting Regent also hoped for attention from the keuchik (village head), the sub-district head would report to the Regent, that in the gampong there were still children who could not continue their studies because their parents' economic conditions could not pay for their school fees.

Likewise, if there are residents who do not dare to go for treatment to a health center or hospital because they are afraid of the costs, even though there are no costs. "We ask the keuchik, sub-district head and department heads to tell us to pick them up so we can take them for treatment," he said.

"Apart from that, the Gampong Government and the authorities can take steps to prevent drug abuse, one of which is by holding outreach, and now there is a drug rehabilitation center in Bireuen at the Dr Fauziah Regional Hospital," said the Acting Regent.
