A total of 250 candidates for members of the Bireuen District Election Supervisory Committee (Panwascam), Sunday (4/8/2024), took a written exam based on the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) at the Almuslim University (Umuslim) Peusangan Laboratory, Bireuen.
The announcement of those who passed the selection results or the names of the selected Panwaslih members will be announced on August 12, 2024. The CAT system written exam lasts for 120 minutes, where participants are divided into three sessions, namely morning, afternoon, and evening.
The first session was attended by 83 participants from Gandapura, Makmur, Kuta Blang, and Peusangan Districts. While the second session, there were 83 Panwascam candidates from Peusangan Selatan, Jangka, Kuala, Kota Juang, Juli, and Jeumpa Districts.
Finally, the third session was attended by 84 participants from the western region of Bireuen starting from Peudada, Peulimbang, Jeunieb, Pandrah, Simpang, and Samalanga Districts.
Rifani as the Head of the Human Resources Division (Head of HR Division of Panwaslih Bireuen explained that all participants took a written test for the first session in the form of multiple choice based on CAT for 90 minutes. Then, in the second session, in the form of an essay with a time of 30 minutes
"For the questions, they are provided by Panwaslih Aceh," explained Rifani.
Regarding the number of Panwaslih needs in 17 sub-districts for the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada), in Bireuen Regency there are only 51 people. The results of the selection later, each sub-district will select six people, consisting of three to become members of the sub-district Panwaslih and three as reserves.
After the written test, he explained, the recapitulation of the written test results by Panwaslih Aceh continued. Then, on August 5, 2024, a plenary meeting to determine those who passed the written test was on August 6, 2024. Next, the announcement of the written test for prospective Panwaslihcam members was on August 7, 2024.
"Continued with an interview test "August 8-9, 2024, recapitulation of interview results assessment on August 10, 2024, plenary session to determine Panwaslihcam candidate members on August 11, 2024, and announcement of elected Panwaslihcam on August 12, 2024," explained Rifani.
