Chamcham is a famous sweet made in Porabari, Tangail, Bangladesh which is famous all over the Indian subcontinent except Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Chamcham is called the king of all sweets in Bangladesh. It is a kind of sweet special made from chickpeas.

Materials
Ingredients for its preparation are flour, butter, sugar, saffron, lemon juice, and coconut.

Preparation:
first prepared by burning pure cow's milk in the oven. About two and a half grams of flour is mixed with 5 kg milk puppies. Then you have to mix it well and give it a sweet shape and burn it in sugar for at least half an hour. The long sweets gradually take on the color of burnt bricks. This is how the porabari Chamcham is prepared.

This delicious and alluring sweet is one of the traditions of Tangail. This tradition is about 200 years old. Beyond Bengali Bihar, India has a reputation of the year and the whole world. Who was the first artisan of Chamcham has not been found even today. However, it is believed that a craftsman named Jessorath Halai is the creator of this Chamcham

Dwip Das, head of Gopal Mistanna Bhandar, said, "We have a reputation for quality and quality of sweets. This sweet carries the tradition of Tangail. So we also do a lot of good quality sweets to preserve that tradition. There is a huge demand for sweets. But now the price of sugar has gone up. And having to pay the weight of sweets without packets. That is why the price of sweets has been increased. Now sweets are being sold at Rs. 250 per kg. There are 14 to 16 pieces per kg of sweets. '
