Ramna Park is the only park in the city of Dhaka where Ramna, Shahbag, Paltan, and the people of the adjoining area can exercise and breathe free air. Ramna Park was established in 1625 during the Mughal period. Ramna Park is located in Dhaka Shahbagh Police Station. Ramna Park was renovated in 1825 by the British Collector for urban development. There are different species of plants here, of which 92 are flowering plants. 31 fruits are not of Jatiya Party. 35 medicines. There are 3 spice plants and 4 agricultural plants and a few aquatic plants.

The park has a lake that is 9 to 94 meters wide and 612 meters long.
