Assalamu-alaikum.

How are you friends? Hope everyone is well. Today I will share with you a delicious recipe of Rui Fish to be a participant of the contest organized by @jyoti-thelight. Our national fish is Ilish but lately due to the availability of Rui fish, the rate at which people are eating Rui fish seems like this fish is becoming our national fish. Once this fish was found in abundance in the rivers of Bangladesh. The fish had a great flavor. Lately the Rui fish have almost disappeared from the river. If it was not cultivated, perhaps the cotton fish would not have met the fate of ordinary people. However, I will share a common recipe of this very delicious fish with you today. Let's take a look.

Necessary Ingredients

Raw pepper5/6 Piece
Chopped onions1 Cup
Ginger dough2 tea spoons
Garlic batter2 tea spoons
Yellow powde2 tea spoons
Cumin powderHalf tea spoons
Dry chili powder2 tea spoons
Salt2 tea spoons
Soybean oil1 cup

Prepared Methods:


Step 1:

First of all cut the fish and clean it well and rub it with salt and turmeric.

Step 2:

Heat oil in a kadai or fry pan and rub the fish with turmeric and salt.

Step 3:

Now keep the fried fish and add some oil and fry the chopped onions and green chilies until light brown.

Step 4:

Cut the potatoes into small pieces and put them in the onions. Also add turmeric powder, chili powder, ginger paste, garlic paste and all the spices one by one.

Step 5:

When the potatoes are grated well with masala, add water in the pot. It should be noted that the amount of water should not be too much. As much water as potatoes.

Step 6:

When the water starts to boil, cover the pan with the fried fish and cook on low flame for 5/7 minutes.

Step 7:

Our delicious recipe of Rui Fish is done. Now it's time to pour into a bowl and serve.
