Hi all, Good morning to all of you. I am overjoyed to be a part of this incredible contest hosted by #steemphotos.

I am from India, a housewife. So it is entirely my responsibility to feed my family nutritious and delicious food.

I always try a lot of new recipes. One of my favourites is Fresh Black Grape Juice. Because of its unique flavour, smell, and taste, it attracts me a lot. That's why it became one of my favourites.

It took less than 5 minutes to prepare and didn't need more ingredients either.

What is the name of your favourite food? Tell us all you know about the food.

I am living in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Most of the days here have hot weather. That's why I always try to drink fruit juices mostly. because it keeps us cool and aids in the reduction of body heat

One of my favourites is fresh Black Grape Juice. It's available at any season here. If we buy at the market, the price is also reasonable.

Black grapes come in a purple colour with small seeds. From 6000 to 8000 years ago, its cultivation started in Europe and throughout Asia.

Grapes , generally known as berries,its come with semi-solid, translucent flesh inside them. Some of them come with out seeds too.

Throughout the world, mostly black grapes are used to make wine.Besides this, we also prepare different dishes using them. Like juice, jam, sauces, desserts and many more.

How is this food prepared? Can you show us a good step-by-step photograph of how to prepare the food?

In today's post, I'll show you how to make fresh, simple, and delicious juice from black grapes.

Ingredients


  • Fresh Grapes : 100 grammes

  • Water: 1/4 cup

  • Suger: 1 tablespoon

  • Honey: 1 tablespoon

Preparation


  • First remove the grapes from their steam,then rinse the black grapes thoroughly using water. Then drain and set aside all of the water.

  • Now transfer those grapes into the blender.

  • Now add water, sugar and honey as you wish. Some also add lemon juice. But today I don't add.

  • Now blend all together for up to 1 minute.

  • Now, using a strainer with the help of a spoon, strain well, extracting juice only from it.

  • Now fresh black grape juice is ready to serve.

  • You may serve with or without ice, as per your wish.

If you wish, serve it by adding a pinch of black salt to it. Its taste is also good.

For garnishing, use mint leaves and black grapes.

In 5 minutes, we can prepare healthy , tasty and delicious fresh juice at home very easily.

Does it have any health benefits? If any, mention them and how they can be eaten.

Yes , it has a lot of health benefits. It comes with a rich supply of antioxidants, which is why it protects cells from damage.

From taking it regularly, we improve our cardiovascular health and also get protection from cancer.

Nutritional Value Per Serving


By taking 1/2 cup of blackberries, we get

31 calories, no fat or cholesterol, 8 grammes of carbohydrates, 7 grammes of sugar, potassium, vitamin C and K, manganese, copper, and many more.

Is the food commonly known in your environment? How often do you eat it?

Yes, this food is very common in my environment. Most people prepare juices , jams, and prepare fruit salads using those.

Also, the price would be in our budget. That's why most people add it to their food menu.

I take black grapes alone twice or three times a week or make simple juice.

Not only me. In my family, all members like this fruit a lot.

Black grapes are a very wholesome food. However, grapes are very expensive in Sri Lanka because they are imported fruit. If we wish to sample it, we use an instant bottle.
