Steemit Engagement Challenge S12W4 | Decide, act and release.
made with canvas
Forgiveness is the act of making peace with whoever must have offended you in any way. It is the powerful way in which we can live happily with one another which I have discussed more in this post.
1- What does forgiveness mean to you?
Forgiveness is the act of pardoning my offender. It means letting go of the bitterness and grudges that I have for those who have offended me in any way.
Forgiveness as said earlier is the act of making peace and reconciling with anyone who has offended me which brings peace and love that allows me and my offender to grow in love as we focus on progress rather than downfall.
However, forgiveness doesn't mean I should forget the harm my offender has caused me, but letting go of the person offensive is what I strongly believe forgiveness is. In simple words, it means the act of not taking revenge back, but making peace.
2.- In your childhood, do you remember your parents forgiving you for any mischief? Tell us about it.
Yes, in my childhood my parents continuously forgave my mischief many times.
During my childhood, I was very stubborn which my parents did not like and whenever I committed an offense or went against their rules, they were prepared to punish me so hard for me not to commit such offense again, but my cried and how merciful my face looks when am about to receive their punishment, it will make them forgive me.
3.- Do you consider yourself to be a grudging person?
No ooh, I don't consider myself to be a grudging person because I always seek for peace which doesn't matter who is at fault. Peace is what pleased me which Is what I always look for and not grudges.
4.- Tell us a brief story or anecdote, where it was your turn to ask for forgiveness or, on the contrary, where you were asked for forgiveness.
There was a time that I offended my coursemate by taking her book home I didn't even show my face in school for a whole week which made her angry over my attitude.
Seeing how angry she was up to the point that she refused to talk to me, I started looking for a way to beg her for forgiveness which I passed through her friends before meeting with her face to face.
On that day I was shocked by words to say that would make her see a reason why I hadn't returned her book earlier as promised than to say I was deeply sorry and asked for her forgiveness which I presented a gift to her as a sign to let her know that am deeply sorry.
I agree with you and your understanding that you have about forgiveness that it is to create a relationship of peace and love between two individuals who are not closer to each other before forgiveness and forgiveness is a way to forgive someone's act who has offended you and destroys your peace but now when he realize his mistake now it's your duty to forgive that person so that you both may come closer to each other again.
You tried to answer all the questions in a maximum and best way I wish you good luck in this engagement challenge
Thank you for your support.
CONGRATULATION...
