Have fun / rv-have fun, Visit to "Darbar Mehal",(Bahawalpur), Pakistan
Assalam u Alaikum,
Last month I went to Bahawalpur (which is a beautiful city in Pakistan) with my kids. My sisters live there and on their strong insistence we decided to go to Bahawalpur. It turned out to be great. Go there. I felt a good change in the children. They were all very happy together. My sisters' children and my children are of the same age, so they all became very good friends and did not even notice the passage of time. I don't remember how the ten days passed, we just felt that we went to Bahawalpur for one or two days. It flew on time.
We used to go out for enjoying every day and come back in the evening after spending the whole day. Meanwhile we planned to visit the famous palace of Bahawalpur, "Durbar Mahal" which I am sharing some memories with you.
After having breakfast at 10 o'clock on Sunday morning, we all went for a tour of Durbar Mahal. It was already 10:30 when we reached there. And there was not much rush at the entrance to the palace. So we easily went inside and started walking around the palace lawn.
Darbar Mehal (Bahawalpur)
Because a museum has also been built inside the palace where the things used by the "Nawab of Bahawalpur" are decorated. And entry is not allowed before 12 noon to see them. So all of us sisters took our children and went outside the palace to the corridors and lawns. And the children started enjoying seeing and playing with the animals, plants and flowers.
When it was time for the museum at 12 o'clock, we went to the inner building. Seeing the things of the Nawab of Bahawalpur there, I felt very happy in my heart that there were such brave and powerful Nawabs in our country. Their common uses included swords, ,canon and guns.
Nawab Sahib was not a Nawab, but he was really a very brave person and also very rich. Seeing their luxurious clothes and luxurious crockery, one could imagine how high their standard of living would be.
Not only this, but the birds that he reared were also made into sculptures and decorated in the museum, so that the visitors could have an idea of Nawab Sahib's high taste.
At one place my steps automatically stopped. Because the entire history of Nawab Sahib was written there, how he lived, and what services he rendered during the establishment of Pakistan. All this was written on a wall so that the people who came could read their genealogy.
It was late afternoon when we toured the Darbar Mahal and the kids were getting hungry. When we finished the museum, we went out and took the kids for something light to eat.
Because the food was cooked at home and we had to go home to eat, so on the request of the children, we fed them loaded fries and golgape.
I hope you like my post. Thank you.

Darbar mehal is truly a beautiful place in bahawal pur some of the things here are quite similar to the things present in Lahore museum. By the way thank you so much for sharing a beautiful article with us. Good luck 🍀🤞
I have also agreed to go to the Lahore Museum, but the things that are decorated there are not of the Nawabs and nobles, but mostly regarding the establishment of Pakistan. I also made a video of Lahore Museum, the link of which I am sharing with you. Watch it and guess how much difference there is between the two. Thank you.
