Unique find for SteemGeography 🌎 // 3rd Week // by @hae-ra || The Bizarre Discovery in El Nido ||
A wonderful day to all here in #saturdaymemories, the one of the best travel community that I have met, especially to ms. @olga.maslievich. Who would have thought that we have something in common. For you, being a gourmet, while me, well, I am just a food lover, I want to taste all kinds of foods hehehe.
Anyway, let me start my beautiful day here with the unique find for steemgeography.
For how many years of being a traveler, I've been to a lot of stunning beaches and islands for island hoppings, but I could say that this is one of a kind for me. I just don't know with the others but let me tell you something how I able to find it's uniqueness. But before that, let's start from the very beginning of this astonishing journey. So let me introduce to you this one of a kind "Big and Small Lagoon" here in El Nido, Palawan. And for you to know more, El Nido Palawan is really known to it's white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, coral reefs, and splendid limestone rock formations similar to those of Ha Long Bay in Vietnam or Phang Nga Bay in Thailand. It is arguably one of the most popular resort destinations in the Philippines where in fact, it is also one of the 7 wonders of the world. A lot of tourists just come and go here.

So first things first, we had to ride on a small boat going to the place that we'd like to see. Our destination now is the "Big and Small Lagoon".

Now, even from the very beginning of the journey, you can already feel the call from the nature itself, the cold breeze, with the matching noise of peaceful waves.
FOODS BY THE BOAT
While we were enjoying the view, these are the perfect foods prepared by our tour guides/ chefs. They were really talented individuals. The presentation of the foods, were really awesome, especially the taste. The accomodation was more than enough. It's really great. People in Palawan were also hospitable as expected, because we Filipinos are known to our traits like that.

After having the mouth watering delicious meals by the boat, we continued the wonderful journey here,,,,,,,,
THE WAY TO THE BIG LAGOON'S ENTRANCE
While enjoying, on the boat, we could not resist by what we saw. It's really like a paradise that I have never been before. I just can't imagine how was it made. If you could really see it in person, it's pretty sure that you would be amazed also, like a big mouth of WWOOOOOWWW!!! with matching eyes sparkling. 🙀🙊😍

We can see the split-like island with this scenery, and it's like an almost kissing rocks formation from afar.

You have to go through from this cute and narrow pathway rock going to the underground river. Just be careful to prevent injury.

Before we continue to "Small Lagoon", let's first enjoy the cold water of this underground river.
So, here we are, enjoying and exploring the other parts of "Small Lagoon", and trying this refreshing and thirst quencher fresh buko.
THE KAYAKING AROUND SMALL LAGOON (Paddling)
I don't know how to kayak (paddle), but the worst thing ever is I really don't know how to swim. How will I able to survive within the water? Ahahahahaha. I'm really afraid of deeps, but I just couldn't resist to roam around the amazing area. That's why I just let the tour guide be with me the whole time and do the paddling, ahahahahaha. It's so envious to see all the great tourist divers though.
So if we noticed here, "Big and Small Lagoons" are just connected as one. We just have to pass through the "Big Lagoon" before we able to reach the area of "Small Lagoon".
After that, we head back to the pension house where we stayed.
It was indeed a grateful, but untiring day, if you go there, you don't have the time be tired or sad exactly. Because you would just enjoy exploring the whole lagoon all the way.
Because of the busy day, we were having a growling tummy suddenly,, so it's dinner time.
Let's have seafoods dinner by the bay here. You would be amazed all the live and crawling seafoods for grilling here. Just choose what you want to kill with your mouth, and it will be served quickly, ahahahaha. The staffs of this restaurant was so accomodating and approachable. Just call them what you need, and it will be yours by just a minute. A lot of restaurants here to choose, just be in a place where you comfortable with. The table arrangement were in front of the seashore, so while having your meal, you are free to feel the romantic scenery of the place.
And for the beautiful and amazing woman too, ms. @olga.maslievich, because I am so thankful for this opportunity, and since you are a gourmet, these are all for you. Well this is already part of the travel, so I hope that you will enjoy all of these mouth-watering seafoods by the bay.
By the way, this happened during our El Nido Island Hopping Tour with friends on 2018. The foods for lunch during the hopping were also the inclusion of the tour package.
