The TASTE of 😋 your TRIP (2nd Week): Short Trip to Lake Toba

In this post I will share a story about my trip to Lake Toba, North Sumatra in 2020. Lake Toba is one of the most famous and beautiful tourist attractions in North Sumatra, on February 2, 2020, my friends and I departed from Medan city goes to Lake Toba using a motorbike, the distance we traveled from Medan to Lake Toba is 245 KM or about 5 hours 43 minutes. halfway through the trip before arriving at Lake Toba suddenly there was a raid from the police, my friend and I managed to escape because we had complete letters along with a driver's license, while my other friend was detained by the police because he didn't have a SIM, after 30 minutes After that, my friend was finally released by paying a fine of 100 thousand rupiah.

after that we continue the journey to Lake Toba, on the way we can enjoy the beautiful mountains and can see the forest monkeys on the side of the road, this is the first trip that is very far in my life, this is my first time going to Lake Toba. Previously I only looked at the beautiful lake only on social media and TV.

After traveling for more than 5 hours, we finally arrived at Lake Toba at 18:30 WIB, and we immediately booked a hotel room in Lake Toba.

19.30 WIB we left the hotel to look for a restaurant, after we toured around Lake Toba we finally found Padang cooking house, Padang food is one of the culinary delights that people in Indonesia are very interested in, besides the price is cheap and the food is also delicious hehe

after we ate, we went again to the hotel, until there we ordered coffee at the hotel while enjoying the beautiful view beside the lake.

After a few hours we were hanging out beside the lake while drinking coffee, finally we were tired because of a very long journey, we went back to the hotel room to sleep and rest, after that in the morning we continued our journey again to walk around Lake Toba while looking at the scenery. beautiful.

without feeling the day began to get dark we also ended our vacation, we were ready to continue the journey home.
