Okay so I am happy to participate in this contest and I pray you will all love my entry.
Its funny how different country have their own food, it is more funny how different states in a particular country just like mine(Nigeria) have different delicacies, and it is more and more funny how a local government, community, or vicinity in a given state have their own food or delicacies. So you see if we want to talk about local food or delicacies we have hundreds and hundreds of them. But out of the numerous delicacies we have in my country, state or local government I have decided to talk about one and that's is Oto Iwa.

Iwa in Akwaibom state of Nigeria mean cassava. And we have so many delicacies that could be made out from iwa(cassava). In my state we can make it and it would look like pounded yam, which you could use in eating soup, you can also make tapioca from it(that's cassava in sliced form), you can as well make flour still from cassava, also you can use it to make different delicacies, which I am about showing you one of it out of the numerous ones🤗🤗🤗, stay tune.

Ingredients:

• Cassava;
• Fish;
• Crayfish;
• Periwinkle;
• leaf(scent leave)
• Pepper and
• Onions.

Steps:

Peel the cassava, wash it thoroughly well, grate it with a grater, after grating it, you then wash a dry silk cloth, turn a little quantity of it into the cloth and squeeze it well👇👇👇

Turn it into a plate and then put it between your hands and massage it till it breaks into pieces👇👇👇👇

After that get a pot wash it thoroughly, add the quantity of water you want, add all your condiments, except leaf, when its boils for a quite a number of time you add the squeezed cassava, making sure you spread it round rather than pouring it in a particular place, allow it to steam for sometime, turn it then bring it down and boom your oto iwa is ready for consumption.👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇
