ABOUT THE AUTHOR OF "THE HEALER"

René Magritte born in the late 18th century was a Belgian painter who made horror, comedy, oddity and interesting concepts representations in the form of art paintings. He tried to Covey abstract meaningful explanations to existing natural phenomena. He further described this when he made a green apple so realistically that he denied it was an apple. Also was that no matter how close to the truth in art, the item itself could not be approached, this was shown with a pipe painting he made(he wrote beneath it(THIS IS NOT A PIPE),it was obvious that we could not smoke tobacco with that pipe, no matter how real it was.
  • René Magritte started taking drawing lessons at the age of 12 and witnessed her mother being pulled out of the water at the age of 14, who committed suicide by jumping into the Sambre River. It is said that his mother's corpse floating on the water and his dress covering his head inspired the painter's " Les Amants" series that he drew in 1927-1928, but he did not like it at all.Magritte, who was a perfect expert in painting, often tried to give new meanings to familiar things and to show ordinary objects with an unusual content. His work La trahison des Images (The Betrayal of Images) set an example for the expressive use of objects beyond what they appear to be.Interest in Magritte's paintings increased in the 1960s, and his paintings inspired pop, minimalist and conceptual art. The artist , who died of pancreatic cancer on August 15, 1967 , was buried in the Schaarbeek Cemetery in Brussels.SOURCE

More About The Healer made in 1937

The Healer was one of those ideas that followed him around until he died. It started in 1937 when Magritte took a picture of himself. He wore his painting like Mr. Potato Head wears his face, topped with a blanket and a hat. He called it God, the eighth day. God, in this case, definitely happens to be a man. He has the authority of Abe Lincoln without the throne.SOURCE

THE REALITY

Many interpretations of the healer painting have graced the mind of many noble artist and geologist. But the mind of the author remain totally unknown due to his mystic interpretation of his previous works and this is the reason for this contest by @pygmalion34

DETAILS OF THE HEALER PAINTING

The painting had the Healer sitting on a mound of sand, overlooking

the sea. This time his head-body was a painting of two birds in an open cage. If my therapist’s office looked like that, I’d pay him not to talk to me.SOURCE

DETAILED ANALYSIS OF THE HEALER SCULPTURE""MY FIRST GLANCE INTERPRETATION""

images (2).jpegThe healer sculpture
As an artist, at first glance,I tried to mastermind and understand the skeletal idea behind this noble painting hence the above picture.
Let's take it one after another based on my own perspective.

  • The doves in an open cage

White colour Doves, usually are used as symbols of love, peace or as messengers.
Judging from the picture at my first glance.
I was able to fathom an honourable healer with a calm heart of love for his patients whom he is traveling to attend to.

The cage is his mind. The cage is open as we can see from the painting. This also could be interpreted as an open mind with peace and love for the people that comes across his pathway. So we can say the healer is a good man on a weary and worrying journey to meet his patients.

  • The healer's medicine bag

The Healers medicine Bag was created for those who love, honor, and respect all mystic arts and healing modalities. It contains all the root and herbs needed to treat

and cure all kinds of illness within their disposition So from the painting we could see a healer with an open heart of peace and love traveling with a bag full of roots and herbs to meet the ones he loved.

  • The healer's HAT/CAP

Hats have been donned by spiritual leaders for eons. They symbolize commitment, the sacred connection between heaven and earth, humility, unity, and impermanence. Let’s dive in, head-first, to the expansive history and symbolism of spiritual headwear throughout the ageSOURCE

A hat is a head covering which is worn for various reasons, including protection against weather while most hats are mystic and have spiritually attachment.
According to the painting,The hat could be for head coverage against bad weather and on a few thoughts it can also be a mystic hat to guide him through the process of getting to his destinations.

In conclusion, we could say the healer was a good man with an open heart of peace and love resting while traveling with his medicine bag and a hat/cap for protection from bad weather and as well guidance through the mystic world
