Traveling Diary Game 4th February 2024 || ๐ Feel the metro rail journey for the first time. ๐ ||
Hello dear friends how are you all? I hope you are well . I am also fine by the grace of God. Today I will share with you one of my wonderful travel moments. Today I will share with you Metro Rail travel story. It was a joyous journey for me even though I had to struggle a lot to complete it. Anyway let me share my journey story.
We left after having lunch. It was about half past four when we started the journey. Anyway, I prayed Asr and started my journey. We used a rickshaw while going. Our destination was from Joydevpur to Tejgaon. After we traveled for a while we noticed a deviation in the road. The fair started at a fly over on the road.
We started our journey by walking under the fly over overlooking the fair. Anyway I was almost surprised to see the people on the fly over. Because the road was blocked here because of this fair. I captured a photo of the crowded flyover from below.
Anyway we used a Laguna next. Using Laguna we finally reached Dhaka Diabari. It took us fifteen minutes to reach Diabari. We left the house building for Diabari. Finally we reached the metro rail station. It was a first metro rail journey. I have never been here before. So I had a pretty good feeling.
Upon entering the metro rail station, we first approached the ticket counter. I was almost disappointed when I approached the ticket counter. The fear of not getting a ticket was working in the mind. Anyway we stood in a long queue to collect the tickets. The line to buy tickets was huge.
I was standing behind a very long line. It was half past seven at night. Ticket sale time was till 7:55 PM. So I was afraid of not getting the ticket. Anyway I stood back and captured a photo of the long line. There was a long serial of about fifty people. I was behind. Anyway I finally purchased a valid metro rail ticket.
The price of a ticket here was 60 Bangladeshi taka. The current steem price list is shown below.
Ticket price | 60 bdt | 2.72 steem |

Anyway I was quite happy to get the ticket. Then I boarded the metro rail for the first time. It was a great feeling for me. The first time I got here I noticed some directions. Which I like very much. I saw a notice that was pasted on the wall. Here it was written, refrain from smoking. I took a photograph of it.
In a very short time there was not a hair's breadth of space inside the rail. Despite all the seat bookings, people were mostly standing. I was also traveling standing up with everyone because I didn't get any seat for accommodation here. Anyway I was quite enjoying the noise of such people.
Since it was winter time it was not too bothersome. Also I noticed a special feature here. That is the entire metro rail was controlled by the year condition. Because of this, even though the situation of people is dire, the situation is not too unbearable. I was quite surprised to see the situation inside. Yet everyone seemed quite happy. I captured a picture.
In the picture you have noticed the situation inside. There was enough passenger pressure here. Anyway that's how I was traveling. It took me half an hour by metro to reach Dhaka Tejgaon from Diabari. I said it as an estimate. It may be less time that I haven't noticed. Anyway I reached my destination by metro rail.
After reaching the destination I got out of the metro rail. There was a lot to enjoy here. Everything was running in an automatic process. Yes, opening and closing of doors here was an automatic process. Anyway I reached my destination and exited the metro rail. I took a photograph of the train outside the rail. Where the passengers who were with me were getting out with joy.
Then we were coming out of the metro rail station. There were electric elevators for entry and exit. Anyway I started this journey with joy. I captured a picture of a tumultuous moment as I wandered into the elevator.
I captured a photo while standing in the elevator. From here the full platform of the station could be seen. I captured the following photo while the elevator was running.
I then stepped out of the metro rail station. We went out and had some food. Because our journey was very long. And for that we entered a hotel. At the hotel we had naan bread and vegetables that night. Anyway we ate this food with great curiosity as we were hungry. Although we ordered extra. Three of us ordered six loaves of bread. Six loaves of bread and a plate of vegetables each. Anyway I had dinner with bread and vegetables quite contentedly.
The price of each bread here was 35 Bangladeshi taka. And the price of vegetables per plate was 40 Bangladeshi taka. The total of which is converted to steem value and mentioned below.
6 pieces of bread | 210 bdt | 9.54 steem |
---|---|---|
Vegetables 3 plates | 120 bdt | 5.54 steem |
Total cost | 330 bdt | 15.08 steem |
This travel moment of mine was quite enjoyable. Yes, it was a lot of fun. Thank you very much for reading my post. May God bless you all and stay healthy always.

Congratulations! This post has been upvoted through steemcurator04. We support quality posts, good comments anywhere, and any tags.Is this the Metro funded by Japan? It looks fantastic, and the prices seem surprisingly affordable. That might explain the large crowd.
