When we see the usual plain scenes during the day in the night light, those scenes appear in front of us in an extraordinary form. The light of the lights at night makes any scene beautified with inexhaustible beauty. Enjoy the beauty in wonder.
On the night of 13-08-24, I had to go to Dhaka's only seaport for a special work. The name of this seaport is Sadarghat. Millions of people travel through this seaport every day. The main means of transportation is the launch or steamer. The port is located on the bank of the river called Buriganga. This river has a place in the pages of history due to tradition. It feels glorious to come near that river at night. It is a famous riverport. From here thousands of people travel with the help of hundreds of launches or steamers to different districts of the country. Thousands of people every day enter Dhaka city through this port.
The launches or steamers are very big. The steamers are beautifully decorated to attract the attention of the passengers. The light of the steamer lights up the darkness and illuminates all around. It is a wonderful sight. I watched all those scenes mesmerized.
Dhaka harbor is lit up on one side, the steamers are shining with light, and on the other side, the distant middle is shrouded in darkness. In that darkness, even with a little light, the touch of life can be seen. Working people are moving from one side of the river to the other side in small boats. The boats are also fearlessly in this darkness. Traveling with passengers to their destination. This form of the river suddenly seemed new to me. I stared at the dark river in amazement.
When the steamers leave for their destination through the river, the colorful lights of the steamer fall on the river water making the river more attractive and charming. I captured some scenes with my mobile phone of the unique scene of the reflection of the steamer illuminated in the water.
