Night life in the heart of Portharcourt, Nigeria.

Decided to take a stroll around my neighborhood to get something I will eat this night at any nearby restaurant. The restaurant is around the highway. This part of the city is filled with lots of night clubs and is always busy because they don’t sleep there.

When I was done buying my food, I heard back home. This particular lonely road is always dangerous at night but I had to follow that route because it was a short road to my home. What even encouraged me to follow there is the street light the government installed newly. So, the place is a bit safe now. Before now, this place was so dark. So, hoodlums take advantage of the darkness to rob passersby of their belongings.

When I was done eating, I went to the park to just have a feel of fresh air. People come there a lot to relax. Is built by the government for recreational purposes. Is a very short distance from the house. So, whenever I’m bored , I just take a stroll there to just feed my eyes or probably, make new friends. Lovers come there to also hangout and have a good time there.

In conclusion, night life in Portharcourt is always fun especially when you know the right place to go and if you have some spare cash you can waste. Night life is fun but you still have to be vigilant in order not to get attacked by hoodlums.
