Greetings to you all and welcome to my Engagement Challenge entry for the theme of this week's from this amiable community. Without further ado, let us go into business using the hints provided.

I'm super excited to share my upcoming holiday plans to visit Cross River State with you. So, get ready for an epic adventure.

First things first, I'm planning to stay in Cross River State for about a whole week because I believe a week is enough for me or anyone to fully explore all the beauties of Cross River. In that one-week duration, I can soak up all the awesomeness it has to offer. Now, when it comes to getting there, since I currently reside in Bayelsa, the city of Yenagoa to be precise, I'll be traveling by land with the means of a vehicle since I don't have my own just yet. So yeah I'm going to hit the road and enjoy the scenic views along the way. It's gonna be quite the journey as it is estimated by Google map to cover over 399km which is expected to last over 7 hours on the road.

Now, let's talk about where I'll be crashing during my stay. I've done my homework, and there are some pretty cool places to stay in Cross River State. You've got guesthouses and hotels that offer comfy and affordable options. So, no worries about finding a cozy spot to rest your head after a day of exploring, I have also picked out Ikom to be the place for my base since it is the city that houses the Obudu layout which has one of the most fascinating sightings to see, The Obudu Mountain Resort, formerly Obudu Cattle Ranch.

With that said, let us go into the key spots I am planning to visit while I'm in Cross River. One place that's an absolute must-see like I said earlier is the Obudu Mountain Resort. It's got breathtaking views, a cool climate, and tons of fun activities like hiking and even riding a cable car. Trust me, you won't wanna miss out on that, or will you?
Another spot on my list is the Cross River National Park. It's a nature lover's paradise, where you can experience the beauty of the great outdoors and spot some unique wildlife. I am told that it is like stepping into a whole new world, my friend.
Oh, and have you heard of the Tinapa Business Resort? I guess so, but if not then it is the happening place with shopping, restaurants, and even a water park. Talk about having a good time. And last but not least, let us not forget about the famous Calabar Carnival. A vibrant and colorful festival that is celebrated on an international level to showcase the rich culture and traditions of Cross River State people and Africa at large. I must say my holiday is going to be a feast for the eyes and a celebration like no other.

But then we can not do all this without funds, can we? So let us talk money, my friend. I am told by friends that the cost of living in Cross River State varies, depending on your style and budget. But accommodation and food are generally pretty affordable and one can find accommodations for as low as 5,000 - 10,000 Naira (which is approximately 9.55 - 19.1 Steems) per day, but then there are accommodations with much higher fees per day.
Then also, one can find some great deals on guesthouses and enjoy some tasty grub at local eateries without breaking the bank. Transportation within the state is also said to be reasonably priced, so one can get around without any worries. Therefore I guess my journey is set and planned just waiting for the holidays and the finances to accomplish my plans and I hope to carry everyone along by sharing my experience here for everyone.

You said you want to go to Bayelsa, the city of Yenagoa. Ofcourse such a beautiful place this is. It would be great fun to go there. It seems this place is too much rich with cultural matters. Such a beautiful post friend as usual.

Cross river state is one of your most wonderful and dream next trip that you are planning to go as well as it seems from your discussion that to go at that place is not too much expensive as well as their different interesting spots to visit and different activities that we can do at this place you have shown you in your pictorial demonstration which I really like.
