A Thrilling Afternoon at the Halishahar Beach Gunnery range.

Hello friends, I hope you are all well. In today's travel story, I will introduce you to a new place. It has been termed a very recent tourist destination, and due to its beauty, it has quickly become popular among traveler's.

The name of the place is Gunner's Training Area. Yes, this is a training area where the army conducts its training activities across several places, but being a seaside and huge scenic spot, the army has developed it as a tourist center under their supervision.

It is located in the area adjacent to Port Link Road in South Halishahar. The price of entry here is 30 Taka/ 0.26$ USD per ticket, and the whole thing is controlled by the army, so there is no security problem. So I went there with a friend of mine.

First of all, I entered through the gate after purchasing the ticket. A fairly long road falls in the middle of the entrance. The road is so beautiful and clean that you can walk barefooted. There are several large ponds on the side of the road, and while walking along it, several ponds can be seen on both sides, which are very eye-catching.

I walked the entire road, enjoying the surroundings. The best part about this place is that it is near the sea, so there is always a cool breeze blowing here. It is an ideal place to spend a good afternoon with family, friends, and loved specially in the summer.

There are good facilities for car parking and worship for tourists. Then I walked across the road and went a little further. The ponds were huge in size, and one could take a boat ride there if desired. And for a 30-minute boat ride, you have to pay 120 taka/1.02$ Usd. There is only this one ride available.

Then I moved a little further and finally reached the main tourist spot. I was surprised by the beauty of the place. I felt as if I had come to an evergreen field. The whole field was filled with people. And I stood, looking at the sky, and felt complete calmness.

By looking at the above pictures, you can understand why the tourists were coming here. The only reason is to enjoy the sunset. Yes, you can enjoy the best sunset from this place.

I went there in the afternoon when it was still evening, so I sat on the green grass in the field with my friend. The atmosphere was very cool, and sitting on the green grass was very comfortable.

Then slowly, the sun started to set. I was sitting in the center of the field, where the sea was clearly visible. I enjoyed the whole time of the sunset, from the time the sun turned red until it went down.

The place is beautiful and a perfect to enjoy the afternoon time with sunset. I have added this to my regular travel spots, and whenever I feel like sitting on the green grass and watching the sunset in peace, I come to this gunner's training area.
