Hello ladies and gentlemen, It's your friend @okere-blessing. There are some memorable things that is worth remembering, this post will kind of take me back to my childhood trips. Of course I was privileged to have parents who understands the importance of traveling due my traveling then was within my rural area because we dwell in the village. Untill one holiday period.

Name and description of the place you remember as best trip of your childhood.

My village is blessed with so many natural resources, but one thing was lacking and guess what? River. We don't have river in my village so all the time i will be hearing from my friends how they used boot for fishing and all those stuffs , I was anxious of seeing what river ,boot and fishermen looks like Apart from seeing them on the screen.
My mother promised my younger brother and I a trip to bonny where her sister is married to. This place is located at Rivers state Nigeria. This river was one everyone would want to visit , we arrived safely and the next day we visited bony River.

All the people who accompanied you during this journey.

We were accompanied by my mother's sister. Since she was the one living there, I was very excited because it was a dream and wish come true. She took her time to take us round the river and we entered some mud houses where women roast and dry their fish for sell. Going to this place was actually free of charge but you pay for anything you wishes to buy.

Anecdotally unique facts you would love to outstanding.

At the river , we had lots of fun, I entered boat for the first time, I was scared at first but as we were sailing I got use to it. We arrived where the fishermen drops their fish for sell we even bought some for home use while we ate some freshly cooked fisherman soup by the river side.

I would like to visit this place because of the serenity and the type of thing sold there. In this place you see locally made pots and chairs, unique furniture made with bamboo.

Any other details or aspects you want to share with us in the publication. What happened in the travel?

Traveling from my State to this place took us about 5hours, and it was really a memorable trip, I can till remember that I did not sleep on the road rather i was busy seeing thing and telling my mother to buy them for me. People travel from this river to other neighboring countries. It was a busy as what you can think of, people visit this place for tourism and for business, fish are sold at cheaper rate.

My trip during childhood remains evergreen. I still feel like visiting this place once more. Less i forget they have raw crude oil that can be used for traditional drugs and production.

I'm saying goodbye let me invite @ripono630 @pandora2010 @josepha @irawandedy

In my experience, family trips create lasting memories, and it's heartwarming to see how the your mother planned a special journey to Bonny, connecting with relatives and creating cherished moments. Mother is the name of blessing , i believe.

I think the fear turning into excitement during the boat ride is a common sentiment. It reminds me of my first boat experience, and the gradual shift from apprehension to enjoyment is a relatable part as I had similar experiance too.

From my observation, the bustling activity around the river not only highlights its importance as a local hub but also underscores its economic significance. The mention of people traveling for both tourism and business indicates the multifaceted appeal of the region. Isn't t it?

Good luck

It's a pleasure to see your insightful feedback from my post. Thanks so much and do have a beautiful day.

It's good that you have many beautiful places and I'm happy to know that although you don't have a river near your home you were able to visit one.

Thanks for the invitation.

De seguro fue un viaje muy emocionante al ir a conocer este lugar el río donde su hermana se tomó su u tiempo para mostrar la zona y ver a esos vendedores así como lo que tienen el arte de la pesca.
Un buen recuerdo
