If only we could make choices as babies...

Hello friends, welcome to the last episode of the season 16 engagement challenge!

Which country would you like to be born instead of yours?

If only it's in our hands to choose, I would choose Canada. Canada is a country in North America; it is the world's second largest country and has the world's longest coastline. It has a border with the United States, which is the world's longest international land border.

Canada has a capital called Ottawa and the three largest metropolises are Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Canada is so large that it could take me over 4 years to walk its coastline, if I ever felt like doing that. These 3 metropolis areas mentioned above are the 3 best livable places you could think of when in Canada.

Canada is so cool, and a lot of people love to live there, of which I am one. It has every beautiful thing one could need to live a successful life. There are nearly 200 nationalities across the country and over 250 ethnic origins; that is large.

Why did you choose this country in particular?

There are lots of reasons why I chose this country; let's look at some of those things...

Universal Healthcare: When living in a place, I think the first thing to look out for is their healthcare services. In the 1960s, Canada adopted universal healthcare, so every province has a healthcare plan that provides its citizens with the best services they could think of.

Just like education, access to medical services is considered a fundamental right for all citizens. These healthcare services function healthily through generated taxes. It is better to pay your tax and see the effect than to pay and see nothing.

Safety: Canada has a much lower crime rate than other countries in the world. It also has a much lower rate of gun violence than other countries. It is a place to sleep with your two eyes closed and worry about nothing. With peace of mind, you can explore the country's cities and wildness.

Natural beauty: Canada is a country of unparalleled natural beauty, ranging from its mountains to its pristine coastlines. Its landscape offers an opportunity for outdoor activities. It's serene looks and forests are breathtaking. If you are in Canada, I doubt if you would ever want to be indoors.

Economy: Canada is the 10th largest economy in the world, although it is rich in natural resources. Irrespective of this, the manufacturing and oil companies have witnessed massive and steady growth for several years. This is a record that gives people confidence that job opportunities will never be a problem in Canada.

What's so special about this country to be considered as your best choice? Gastronomy, culture, religion...

Quality of living: One of the most important reasons I see people move to Canada is to improve their standard of living. To have a quality life, Canada has all it takes to give one a quality life, ranging from the economy, job market, political stability, as well as the health system and education.

Employment Opportunities: Employment opportunities are available across industries in Canada. The reason it is hard for newcomers to get employed in Canada is because employers prefer to hire people with Canadian experience, which means that the country is blessed with employment opportunities, but for you to be eligible, you must have some experience.

Diversity and Multiculturalism: Canada's multiculturalism can go a long way toward making a person feel at home. You can find yourself surrounded by a mix of cultures, languages, foods, and religious beliefs, depending on where you live in Canada. Everyone is considered equal, no matter their tribe, religion, culture, origin, or race.

State the differences between that nation and the one you belong to

Difference between Nigeria and Canada

SNNigeriaCanada
Employment opportunitiesIn Nigerian, we have a very low employment opportunities. Citizens are encouraged to have skills other than depend on government for jobs.Canada poses of various employment opportunities from companies, public and private sectors, just have an experience and you have the job.
Standard of livingNigeria has a very low standard of living. If you live in Nigeria, I guess you understand my plight. Nigeria has nothing to promote the lives of it's citizens, instead our standard of living depreciates per time.Canada over time, gives the best standard of living to it's citizens. The employment opportunities, political stability, education, the health system and others are all means through which all citizens enjoy a good living standard.
Security and safety of citizensNigeria over time has been recording insecurity. It has become a daily news for everyone in the country where we sleep with an eye open and the other closed. Kidnapping is the order of the day in Nigeria todayCanada is among the world's ten most safe countries. It is a place where you can travel and return without having to experience any form of violence. Citizens sleep in peace at night and during the day. Lives and properties are safe.

Only if the powers were in my hands, I would not have thought it twice to move to my choice country. Life is good when you are at the right place.
