SEC-S16W3 | Where do you plan to go in your next trip? | Exploring the outskirts of my Town

Traveling has always been fun, moving out with family and friends for a little holiday is what most of us enjoy, being free from work and stress and just up for relaxation. I have always loved to travel but due to school and some other little factors I can't move too far from home, so we wait for the holidays. This particular one is too short, I won't have much time to enjoy my holiday fully.
One of my best holiday was visiting my uncle in calabar, it Is the capital of cross river state, it's a neighbouring state to my state, Akwa ibom state and also Cameron, the neighbouring country.
The holiday lasted for a week, apart from paying a visit to our uncle, we also had our aunt's wedding to attend which was also one of the main reasons we visited the state. On reaching his home we were received by his wife, it was nice seeing them again. There was no dull moments during our stay there, as we paid a visit to the popular University of calabar, we strolled down to see all the nice structures.
Our next step was going to the airport, we walked in but we were not able to get to the runway, which was what we were expecting to see. Upon that, we still saw a large view of the plane moving up. It was really an interesting trip and holiday.

Always getting ready to see the next day which you will leave for our holiday. Humans are always anticipating to finally attend something they have been waiting for, like sleeping a day to a new school session, you will have all the dreams you can about the school day and how well you will get to meet your friends again, this was how this trip was, I was so eager to go for it and I will love to make it my next favorite destination for an Holiday.
It's just located at the outskirts of our town, but it won't take upto one hour to get there from the town. It is a popular place in my state known as the Ibom Icon Resort, it is one of the best places you would love to spend your holiday at without regretting . Find your way to uyo in Akwa ibom state and get to ibom golf and resort, that's how you will enjoy your holiday.

I won't just go there because of it's just a random place to visit in my state, no it is worth more than that. With lot of events you will actually enjoy your stay here. The duration to stay in this place depends on how well you want to enjoy your holiday, due to how interesting it can be you might even stay upto 1-3 weeks, that's the opposite reaction of coming here.
If you're really prepared to explore the whole environs, you can use 2-3 days to explore but if you want to really enjoy it then you have to stay for weeks. Just know that the fun starts from the first day of your visit. Your mode of transportation there is not an issue, there are varieties and lot of choices to choose from, you can order a bolt to take you in directly which is much better, or you take vehicles from points.
The place has a really nice hotel to stay, which holds many events and buffet to choose from. They're swimming pools for a small chill out and rest. You're fully covered here based on fun.

As I said earlier they're numerous places or spots to visit in there. Let's looks at some of them
- The Golf Academy
This is the best golf spot in the state, it has a golf academy and a large golf field which covers a large kilometers, we once followed the golfers as we learnt more about the game of golf, it is such an interesting one but look out for the golf. There are tournaments hosted which will be worth seeing, it will make your stay fun too.
Marina
This is another cool sit out, a river flows and makes the environ cool to sit, fishermen get on to do their work, there are fishes in there. What a nice place to chill and watch the chefs preparing your fish, you will really enjoy it with a sweet palm wine, which was just tapped from the palm wine tree at the resort. There are lots of fun as I said, no dulling moments.Game Reserve
You're a lover of animals, this will be a fun trip for you because you're yet to see the animals present and they're also ready to say hi to you.

To enjoy your stay here you can keep some cool cash to have fun at the Resort, it won't cost much but it depends on how much fun you're ready to get.
