Hello fellow travelers!

Many of you are probably still enjoying your vacations, but for me, they ended some time ago. I want to take advantage of this last post to share some photos I forgot to include in my previous posts, all from my beautiful trip to Vienna, a capital city I highly recommend not only for a visit but also as a place to live!

I had the chance to see an Italian Catholic church in the capital, where I attended a choral festival with choirs from all over the world. It was a truly fascinating and unique place, even though the interior of the church wasn’t particularly beautiful, except for a mosaic depicting the Last Supper, a famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci found in Milan.

I also got to see the Ankeruhr, an ancient clock located right in the center of Vienna. At noon, you can witness a beautiful spectacle as the figurines inside the clock move to delightful music.

While wandering around Vienna, I also saw the monument dedicated to Empress Sissi, in a rather hidden but very beautiful corner, although it wasn’t in perfect condition and seemed a bit neglected to me.

I'm not sure if I shared photos of the interior of St. Stephen's Cathedral, one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in Austria and Europe. It was a bit difficult to take photos inside because the church is dimly lit, and some areas require an entrance fee.

I also visited the monument dedicated to the great composer Mozart, where a beautiful treble clef is drawn with flowers on the lawn in front of it. Many people were eager to take photos there.

But architecturally, what impressed me the most was the church dedicated to St. Charles Borromeo, right next to the museum dedicated to Vienna, which I mentioned in a previous post. It has a very sumptuous dome and can be visited freely without an entrance fee. There was a mass in progress, and the church was built to give thanks for the end of the plague that struck the city.

In conclusion, there were many things to see in Vienna, but a week went by so quickly. When you're on vacation, time unfortunately flies by faster. However, it will be an occasion to return to Vienna, a city I really liked!

See you soon in my next post! Bye everyone!
