Surviving in the Nature

Introduction.

Hello Steemit friends and especially to my friends all over **Traveling Steem **, This time I bring you the topic of Surviving in the Nature. For this I am going to base myself on my little experience I have in survival. From the three natural alternatives offered to me to survive, such as desert, island and jungle, I will choose one, answering the questions offered by the designers of this contest. I will make a dissertation on my choice, and finally as always, I will offer as an extra, my reflection on my choice.

Which natural spot (desert, jungle or Isle) do you feel you'll probably survive on a best way? State reasons.

Of the three alternatives I have, I only have experience in a scenario such as the jungle, although I have been in deserts such as Los Medanos de Coro, in northeastern Venezuela and certain islands; but not in a survival plan. On the other hand, the closest I have been to critical conditions has undoubtedly been the jungle; which I consider even familiar since I have been in several jungle places in the State of Bolivar.

In the case of the desert, it would be difficult for me to get water out of the desert from the desert even if I knew where to dig, using any of the known existing methods, such as metal rods or some other method, because I would not know exactly how deep the water is. I would not know exactly how deep the water is. Eating cactus and getting water from it would be an alternative, but you would not always be able to find plants of this type. Getting protein would not be easy either, as animals hide in the sand and are always dangerous, such as a snake.

Cactus as foodThe cactus can be eaten.

The alternative of an island would always have the problem of water, since the water at hand would be from the sea and this is salty, which could be treated by physical methods; the rest of the food from fruits, plant leaves and roots; and its identification is easy to learn.

On the other hand, in the jungle, according to my experience, it would be easier for me to execute, since I would not have problems in finding water, what is more abundant are plants and roots, as well as a diversity of animals to obtain protein. The realization of making or not a shelter, depending on what is seen in the environment; since I could have a cave.

Which skills do you need to stay there without big issue while you wait to be rescued? Cooking, climbing, swimming, etc.

I tell you that in the jungle, one of the most characteristic sounds is the sound of water, either the noise of the river through its course or the sound of a waterfall which can be felt from great distances. In an area like the jungle, it is more proactive to build a shelter compared to the other two alternatives; in addition to the fact that different types of branches are available, both for construction and firewood. So the skills of getting water, fishing with a rod and the use of the bow are fundamental.

Which are the essential you can't forget there and why? Mobile, diary, pet... Anything is valid.

In the past, when I was young, I was able to share with an indigenous community from whose past they are one of my ancestors. I was able to train with the bow, which was not easy for me because it has its technique, and a pointed stick and it is indispensable to have it at hand, both for defense and hunting. If you come across a wild animal, running is not a good option, you should stare at it while backing away, but keeping upright and threatening with the stick; and back away slowly as a sign that you do not want the confrontation and try to keep the fear away so as not to drain adrenaline as the animal is able to sense it; I assure you that nothing will happen to you.

Which are the disadvantages for being very dependent of any urban lifestyle?.

For the common citizen, no doubt, it would be somewhat traumatic to make an adaptation to a natural lifestyle, away from their comfort zone, I believe that walking without a phone, or transit with vehicles, can cause the individual high stress and anxiety, which makes me think that these devices can be seen as a drug. I have seen people cry when they don't have internet. A person accustomed to certain comfort amenities may never be able to adapt to a natural survival situation.

Reflexiones.

Choosing the jungle for survival is the best choice in these times when life on the planet is threatened. To be far away from the big cities is to be far away from the radiations emanating from telephones, especially from the so-called smart phones. When these waves enter into resonance with the human body, they can cause serious damage to the immune system, stroke, respiratory difficulties and heart failure. The most unfavorable case would be the nuclear radiations resulting from an eventual use that seems to be inevitable; it is only a matter of time since I do not see anything that can divert that path.

The fact that there are millenary cultures still present in the jungle, shows us the way to survival for those who choose this option of the present humanity. I inform you of some secrets that you may not know, because you will only be offered half-truths, such as Curare. They tell you that it is a poison, which is not true, it is only a muscular paralyzer; the animal or person dies in a few minutes; but do not worry because there is an antidote that if you have it at hand, there is nothing to worry about. Curare is used to grease arrows, blowguns and rod tips.

Far from thinking that they have no communications, I consider it total ignorance. These tribes use a variety of herbs to make what they call the Yopo, which is a preparation for rituals, and once prepared, it is placed lengthwise in a hollow bamboo where a nut seed is placed, also perforated, through which the Yopo is expelled from the other end of the bamboo by means of a strong blowing. Previously the person who is going to receive the Yopo introduces the terminal seed of the bamboo in his nose. Through this ritual they communicate with their ancestors, they can according to see the past; since they can see volcanoes and prehistoric animals and even draw what they see, such as strange beings and spaceships. The testimonies and phenomena related to this; I am going to reserve them to not make this post long.

Hello traveler! 👋🏼

Thanks for sharing your post in the TS Community. Here you are the feedback and evaluation results:

Never thought before about eating cactus 🌵 but it's logic to find water inside them, so how can they survive in deserts? And me, of course I'm the one that cry 😭 with no internet.😂 So you can start considering me as an addictive one.

Hello friend. I comment you that it is a delight in salads, I usually leave subliminal messages in my posts; and as you say it is obvious. Don't worry, dependency has been imposed on us by those who control us behind the scenes. If communications were 100% at the service of humanity; there would be no problems; but they only give 10% to the citizens, the rest is against us and for military use. Greetings

Congratulations, your post has been upvoted by @scilwa, which is a curating account for @R2cornell's Discord Community. We can also be found on our hive community & peakd as well as on my Discord Server

Your reflections on the disadvantages of urban lifestyle dependency are thought-provoking. The potential stress and anxiety caused by the absence of modern amenities like phones and vehicles are valid concerns. The connection between urban living and potential health issues, especially related to radiation from electronic devices, adds depth to your perspective.

Hello friend. Your appreciation indicates to me, that you are awake. The radiations emitted against us, are similar or equal to those emitted by our brain, it is with the purpose that they enter in resonance; and destroy us inside as well as control us. That is why in many places they don't want the famous antennas. Greetings

Hello friend.
The comparison between the draft and the tropics is so clear the desert has dangeróus snakes hiding in the sand and less water which could be gotten from the cactus plant. The tropics or jungle has lots of plant source and protein too from animals too, it's interesting to have visited your entry, success in the challenge my dear friend

Hello my friend. Certainly, the desert sands, really is a minefield of all kinds of vermin, it is interesting the trails they leave in the sand and dimples where they hide; but the breeze and the sand soon erase them. Greetings

Well said my friend the desert on its own is a death trap with lots of life threatening dangers. Success once again you have a beautiful entry

Saludos
