Hello beautiful steemians, im happy to partake in this contest thanks to @cotina for organizing this contest.
Its our normal duty as steemians to always participate in power up.
What is power up and why is it very important
Power up is simply a method or way of holding steem in the form of steem power. Its a way of investing in the steem ecosystem. This enable the ecosystem to be more stable. Some important of power up include:
- it makes the steem ecosystem to be more stable and thus increases the value of steem in the market.
- powering up generally increases the influence of a steemian on this amazing platform. That is when you power up it has so many advantages on yourself.
- When you have or hold more SP your votes on other people's post counts more that is when you upvote other people's post, they get in reward and in turn as the post pay out, you also get a reward.
- holding more SP helps the community to grow as you can delegate to this community.
With all said above, i understand the importance of power up that is why i have powered up 116 steem.
I logged into my wallet by click on the word wallet on my profile page.

I clicked on steem tradable tokens and select power up. This open to this page as seen below

I then fill the steem amount that i wanted to power with.
I then confirmed the process with my active key.

O que é power up e por que é tão importante
Power up é simplesmente um método ou maneira de manter o steem na forma de poder do steem. É uma forma de investir no ecossistema de Steem. Isso permite que o ecossistema seja mais estável. Alguns importantes de power up incluem:
- torna o ecossistema de steem mais estável e, assim, aumenta o valor do steem no mercado.
- Ligar geralmente aumenta a influência de um Steemian nesta plataforma incrível. Isso é quando você liga, tem muitas vantagens em si mesmo.
- Quando você tem ou detém mais SP, seus votos no post de outras pessoas contam mais, ou seja, quando você vota no post de outras pessoas, eles recebem uma recompensa e, por sua vez, à medida que o post é pago, você também recebe uma recompensa.
- manter mais SP ajuda a comunidade a crescer, pois você pode delegar para essa comunidade.
Com tudo o que foi dito acima, eu entendo a importância do power up e é por isso que eu liguei 116 Steem.
