Controlling anger
Anger, as few letters as it is, has the power to destroy. Just five-letter words, but very dangerous.
Anger for me Anger is bad and evil. I know there are levels to anger, but one should watch it to avoid escalation. I am not an angry person at all. I don't know how to get angry, and to date, I still wonder what anger looks like.
Sometimes I feel it's a spirit that is invited into people's lives, and it automatically starts acting. I can get sad but not angry, and I bet you know they are two different things.
Getting angry has a way of making people look like monsters, but they don't know that; they only feel they are showing off their feelings and emotions. I have a friend who is always angry at little things. She can get angry for a very long time and not talk to anyone around her, and each time she's angry, it shows on her face.
I always tell her to stop getting angry over little things because life doesn't work like that. Angry people live a very short life. Honestly, if you're an angry person, then know that your days are numbered on earth because you won't last long.
Getting angry is something I have never done. I can't say how it feels or tastes, but from seeing people's faces when they are angry, I don't want to be there.
Getting in a bad mood for me could be caused by not meeting up with my target, a bad network to deliver my work, or disappointment from friends. A bad mood is just for a short time, and after a while, I am fine to move on.
Mood swings don't usually happen to me because I am always happy with myself and everyone around me. It is an inbuilt quality that cannot be taken away from me.
I feel anger is a choice, not a force. You choose which one you want because God has given us the power to call forth things that we want to see in our lives, so if you choose anger, it will come and meet you, and if you choose happiness, so be it.
Have you heard this saying, "A hungry man is an angry man?" Do you think this is true? Does it mean that only hungry people get angry?
Some years ago, I heard of a story about a man who angrily beat his wife to death. Well, he was not hungry at all, but he killed his wife because he was angry over nothing.
Even the word of God kicks against anger. It says, paraphrased, in Psalms 37:8 that "anger leads only to evil, so you need to turn from it.
There are still other books of the Bible that speak about anger. Another book says, "You can be angry, but be sure not to sin." It means that anger is evil, sin, and can destroy, so if you choose to be angry, you need to be sure you are safe from evil and sin.
Getting angry is part of nature. It has been designed by the creator. No matter how you paint anger, it will always be seen as evil. Nothing good comes from being angry, so it's bad.
Anger has scattered the beautiful beginnings of some families; it has set some good people to their early graves; it has put some people in their worst state in life. Anger is not a good thing and can never be.
Your level of anger determines your next phase in life. Hot-tempered people are quick to anger and should try to stay away from what makes them angry. Since I am not an angry person, I wouldn't know what it feels like to be there.
