Contest: Favorite song of a world cup by @graciella

Hola amigos,hope we all are doing well and have been enjoying the world cup so far. Today I'm surprisingly participating in a contest about the world cup thanks to @vivigibelis. Although I'm not a big fan of football but I'm a huge fan of music and I guess that's what drew me here.

Mention that song from a soccer world cup that moved you and answer the following:

I haven't known a lot of world cup songs to ne honest so I will be answering based on the very few I know. Aside from Waka waka by Shakira(official song of FIFA 2010 world cup) which till date is still a very very beautiful song, "Dreamers" is a song I'll be using for this post.

Who interpret it?

The song was done by a South Korean singer Jeon Jungkook who is also a BTS member(kpop group) along side another Qatar singer named Fahad Al Kubaisi at the FIFA world cup 2022 opening ceremony.

What world did he belong to?

As mentioned already, the singer is from South Korea and is part of Kpops biggest boyband BTS. The other singer is from Quatar, he is a singer, fashion model, record producer and also a human rights activist.

What makes it special to you?

Every bit of the song makes it special to me🤣. Well the lyrics are pretty good, the song is cathy, calm and super easy to learn. Maybe cause I'm also a BTS fan and I was happy seeing one the members actually the youngest(golden maknae) represent them so well. I learnt the song in a couple of hours cause its that easy.

Is there a verse or sentence from that song that makes you think?

Well yes. The first verse is my favorite as it inspires me to keep dreaming and to keep believing. I reminds of other songs I know about believing, dreams and most especially about passion.

What makes a World Cup so inspiring?

To me it's just the togetherness it brings. Even with all the war, fights, battles and violence around the world in a lot of countries, people always put it all aside to come together and make the world cup the best it can be. You see fans cheering and supporting their respective countries, going far and beyound to show love to their countries. It's just inspiring to know that even with everything, the world cup brings this joy, happiness, hope to a lot of people and reveals there is still love and togetherness in the hearts of many.

Hoy sorpresivamente estoy participando en un concurso sobre la copa del mundo gracias a @vivigibelis. Aunque no soy un gran fanático del fútbol, ​​soy un gran fanático de la música y supongo que eso es lo que me atrajo aquí.

La canción fue interpretada por el cantante surcoreano Jeon Jungkook, quien también es miembro de BTS (grupo kpop) junto con otro cantante de Qatar llamado Fahad Al Kubaisi en la ceremonia de apertura de la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2022.

¿A qué mundo pertenecía?

Como ya se mencionó, el cantante es de Corea del Sur y es parte de la banda de chicos más grandes de Kpop, BTS. El otro cantante es de Quatar, es cantante, modelo, productor discográfico y también activista de derechos humanos.

¿Qué lo hace especial para ti?

Cada parte de la canción la hace especial para mí. Bueno, la letra es bastante buena, la cancion es cathy, tranquila y super facil de aprender. Tal vez porque también soy fanático de BTS y estaba feliz de ver a uno de los miembros más jóvenes (golden maknae) representarlos tan bien. Aprendí la canción en un par de horas porque es así de fácil.

¿Hay algún verso o frase de esa canción que te haga pensar?

Bueno, si. El primer verso es mi favorito ya que me inspira a seguir soñando y a seguir creyendo. Me recuerda a otras canciones que conozco sobre creer, soñar y muy especialmente sobre la pasión.

¿Qué hace que una Copa del Mundo sea tan inspiradora?

Para mí es sólo la unión que trae. Incluso con todas las guerras, peleas, batallas y violencia alrededor del mundo en muchos países, la gente siempre deja todo a un lado para unirse y hacer que la copa del mundo sea lo mejor posible. Ves a los fanáticos animando y apoyando a sus respectivos países, yendo más allá para mostrar amor a sus países. Es inspirador saber que a pesar de todo, la copa del mundo trae esta alegría, felicidad, esperanza a muchas personas y revela que todavía hay amor y unión en los corazones de muchos.
